Buildings Department to conduct spot checks on some units at ONE STANLEY and require developer to submit investigation report

The Buildings Department will spot check some units at ONE STANLEY and require the developer to conduct an investigation into similar detached houses and residential units and submit a report to the Department. Previously, the Department confirmed that at the luxury development ONE STANLEY in Stanley, the protective layer of some beams was not fitted with wire mesh as required by the approved drawings, and the reinforcement of some floor slabs did not comply with the drawings. The Department will also spot check other projects currently handled by the building professionals and contractors involved in the incident.
