Paul Chan Leads Delegation to Nanjing, Encouraging Enterprises to Make Good Use of Hong Kong's Advantages in Connecting with International Markets

Financial Secretary Paul Chan led a delegation on a visit to Nanjing today, having breakfast with Jiangsu Provincial Standing Committee member and Executive Vice-Governor Zhang Wenbin, exchanging views on deepening Jiangsu-Hong Kong economic and trade cooperation, and visiting an energy and energy-saving equipment enterprise and a pharmaceutical enterprise. Chan said innovation and technology is a key area of Jiangsu-Hong Kong cooperation, and encouraged enterprises to make good use of Hong Kong's advantages in capital markets and professional services that connect with the world, as well as its汇聚 of international financial institutions and talent, to develop overseas markets. The delegation concluded its Nanjing itinerary in the afternoon and returned to Hong Kong in the evening.
