LegCo to hold combined debate on five-year plan and Policy Address, John Lee: eagerly look forward to in-depth discussion

John Lee said the Legislative Council will hold a combined debate from Wednesday to Friday on Hong Kong's first five-year plan and the proposals in the new Policy Address, expressing hope that all sectors will attach importance to it and gain a better understanding of the significance of the five-year plan through the debate. He reiterated the five important objectives of the five-year plan, including achieving new breakthroughs in economic development, continuously enhancing international competitiveness and influence, accelerating and improving the development of the Northern Metropolis, markedly improving people's livelihood and well-being, and making major progress in integrating into and serving the country's overall development.
