Chow Hin: Attracting Middle East Funds Expected to Become a Farce

Chow Hin says the Hong Kong government has in recent years tried to use Middle Eastern sovereign funds and Gulf capital as intermediary platforms, with the focus of cooperation on member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council, through measures including setting up trade networks, overseas offices and financial cooperation, but he expects it will ultimately become a farce.
