Anita Mui's ashes stolen from Po Lin Monastery on Lantau Island, still unrecovered nearly 3 months after police report

The Anita Mui International Fan Club is appealing to the public for clues, saying that the ashes of the late singer Anita Mui, kept at the Haihui Pagoda of Po Lin Monastery on Lantau Island, have been stolen since July this year and remain unrecovered nearly 3 months after the case was reported to police. The fan club issued an urgent appeal on the night of what would have been Anita Mui's 63rd birthday, and Ming Pao is making enquiries with the police.
