Lands Department: Pre-Sale Conditions Breaches May Lead to Suspension or Revocation of Sales Letters; Buildings Department Says Inspections Found No Apparent Violations

The Lands Department replied to Ming Pao that it would consider, in light of actual circumstances, whether developers had complied with the conditions of pre-sale consents, and would suspend or revoke the relevant consents if necessary; the Buildings Department said it had conducted multiple surprise inspections of the relevant sites and had so far found no apparent non-compliance with approved plans. Ming Pao reported that Cheung Kong's Floraville and Manchin Towers projects still use Excellence Land as the contractor.
