Financial Secretary delivers keynote speech at Nanjing University in Nanjing

Financial Secretary Paul Chan delivered a keynote speech at Nanjing University in Nanjing on 12 October, setting out the opportunities in artificial intelligence and the development direction of Hong Kong's financial and innovation and technology sectors. In the first nine months of this year, Hong Kong had 116 new listings, raising approximately HK$388 billion, an increase of 106% over the same period last year. He proposed that cooperation with Nanjing could advance along two paths, namely going global and industry linkage, with priority given to aligning in three areas: AI and software, life and health, and smart grids.
