APEC Finance Ministers' Meeting to Be Held in Hong Kong Next Tuesday and Wednesday; Ministry of Finance Proposes 4 Key Agenda Items

The Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Finance Ministers' Meeting will be held in Hong Kong next Tuesday and Wednesday. The Ministry of Finance has proposed 4 key agenda items: fiscal policies supporting people's livelihood development, financing for digital infrastructure, promoting inclusive financial development in line with local conditions, and promoting exchanges and cooperation among APEC young financial and economic talent. The Ministry of Finance said the meeting will accumulate financial and fiscal outcomes ahead of the APEC Informal Leaders' Meeting to be held in Shenzhen in November, with outcome documents such as a finance ministers' statement expected to be formed.
