Paul Chan Meets Thai Deputy Prime Minister in Bangkok to Discuss Deeper Trade and Financial Co-operation

Financial Secretary Paul Chan met Thai Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Ekniti Nitithanprapas in Bangkok to exchange views on strengthening trade and financial co-operation between the two places, and to explore promoting the alignment of local foreign direct investment with Hong Kong's capital market. Paul Chan said Hong Kong can provide investment and financing support for local enterprises, and encouraged enterprises from both places to pursue dual listings, and invited his counterpart to attend the Asian Financial Forum in Hong Kong in January next year. In the morning he also met the management team of a major French bank, and then set off back to Hong Kong.
