Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau Secretary to visit Italy and Switzerland

Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury Christopher Hui will depart tomorrow evening (October 5) to visit Italy and Switzerland, attend the Global Precious Metals Conference 2026 in Sorrento, and visit several refineries in Switzerland that refine internationally standard gold. Christopher Chan, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Precious Metals Clearing Limited, will accompany him. Hui will return to Hong Kong on October 8; during his absence, Deputy Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury Joseph Chan will act as Secretary.
