Financial Secretary visits Switzerland's top gold refineries to promote setting up in Hong Kong and expanding business

Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury Christopher Hui visited three gold refineries in Ticino, Switzerland - MKS PAMP, Heraeus Group and Valcambi SA - to promote the high-end precious metals supply chain establishing in Hong Kong. Valcambi SA revealed it is in discussion with Shougang Concord Precision to build gold refining and storage facilities in Hong Kong, while MKS PAMP had already opened its third regional headquarters in Hong Kong last year. Christopher Hui said Hong Kong is developing a gold trading ecosystem that integrates trading, settlement, storage and refining in one place, and will return to Hong Kong on the evening of 8 October.
