Commentary: Hong Kong should abandon the golf course housing plan and keep the course

Author Cliff Buddle believes Hong Kong should abandon the plan to build 12,000 public housing units on its oldest golf course and retain the course. The government has decided to appeal against the ruling that the environmental impact assessment report approval was found unlawful, and the court proceedings have concluded. The author said this is better than trying again to persuade the court to uphold a fatally flawed process, and believes the plan can be reconsidered in light of the Court of Appeal's judgment.
