Hong Kong proposes four-step AI talent pipeline plan to help graduates cope with impact on entry-level jobs

Hong Kong has unveiled a four-step AI "talent pipeline" strategy, positioning AI as a catalyst rather than a threat, to address the impact on entry-level jobs and cultivate industry leaders. Kevin Choi Kit-ming, Principal Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry, warned that the "entry-level impact" is real, because AI performs well at routine tasks such as basic coding and frontline support that form the starting point for graduates.
