Abby Choi murder trial resumes at High Court; defence questions mother Alex Zhang's earlier testimony on property ownership

The Abby Choi murder trial resumed at the High Court yesterday, with Choi's mother Alex Zhang cross-examined by the defence, which questioned her earlier testimony that she jointly held a property at Whampoa Garden with her husband. Zhang explained that she had misremembered due to the passage of time, and only realised her error after finding the property sale documents. Asked why Choi did not allow her to hold the Kowloon Tong unit and instead registered it in Kwok Kau's name, she said it was because Kwok Kau had no job and it was convenient for him to move around.
