ONE STANLEY steel reinforcement not to specification; Buildings Department asks professionals and contractor to assist investigation; seller says it will follow up seriously

The Buildings Department said that at ONE STANLEY, a luxury development in Repulse Bay, the protective cover of a beam at a sold detached house unit had not been fitted with steel mesh in accordance with the drawings, and that some slab reinforcement did not conform to the drawings. It has written to the authorised person, engineer, contractor and developer requesting assistance in the investigation, and will consider prosecution if any irregularity is found. The seller said it would follow up seriously.
