Hong Kong Monetary Authority releases Hong Kong international reserves and liquidity data for end-August

The Hong Kong Monetary Authority released on 30 September data on Hong Kong's foreign exchange reserves and liquidity as at end-August 2026. The dataset is released monthly according to the International Monetary Fund's Special Data Dissemination Standard template. The Hong Kong Monetary Authority issues four foreign exchange fund press releases each month, three of which are published under the Special Data Dissemination Standard, while the fourth is a summary of the foreign exchange fund balance sheet and currency board accounts.
