Bar Association President Moses Chan: Litigants using AI to represent themselves may be inaccurate and could hinder judicial efficiency

Bar Association President Moses Chan said that globally, more and more litigants are using AI when representing themselves to compile cases in their favour or to generate self-defence arguments that are more persuasive to the court. As litigants may not be able to tell whether cases are genuine, he did not rule out that this could instead increase the courts' workload and affect judicial efficiency.
