Buildings Department to spot-check other units at One Stanley in Stanley and inspect other projects of contractor involved

The Buildings Department said it would spot-check some units at the Stanley luxury development One Stanley and inspect other projects currently handled by the building professionals and contractor involved. The department recently confirmed that the development had beams whose protective layer was not fitted with steel mesh in accordance with the plans, and that the reinforcement of some floor slabs did not conform to the plans. It has required the developer to investigate similar detached houses and residential units and submit a report.
