Lam Ting-kwok to Attend 16th China-ASEAN Prosecutors-General Conference in Brunei

Secretary for Justice Lam Ting-kwok departs for Brunei this afternoon as a member of the Chinese delegation to attend the 16th China-ASEAN Prosecutors-General Conference, and will deliver a speech on the theme of protecting children in the digital age. He will introduce to ASEAN member states Hong Kong's current legal framework for protecting children from cybercrime and its policy direction for addressing emerging risks. Lam Ting-kwok returns to Hong Kong on Friday, and during his absence Deputy Secretary for Justice Cheung Kwok-kwan will act as Secretary.
