Algernon Yiu: RTHK to strengthen use of new media platforms; Caroline Wilson: Tell well the stories of the country and Hong Kong

Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development Algernon Yiu said in the Legislative Council that Radio Television Hong Kong would strengthen the use of new media platforms and artificial intelligence technology, and deepen cooperation with broadcasting organisations in the Mainland and other Belt and Road regions. Director of Broadcasting Caroline Wilson said the new media platform launched yesterday would be funded by reallocating internal resources without adding extra resources, and a dedicated task force would be set up to oversee production direction. She also said the Greater Bay Area Voice was broadcast through RTHK radio channels, with a coverage rate of over 99%.
