Prosperity Investment Management and Wo Fu Kee Noodle Shop (Tsuen Wan) breached rules, Labour Department suspends importation of labour applications

The Labour Department has immediately suspended processing of the 'Supplementary Labour Scheme' importation of labour applications already submitted by Prosperity Investment Management Limited and Wo Fu Kee Noodle Shop (Tsuen Wan) Limited, and has refused to process applications from the two companies under the scheme for the following two years. Investigations found that Prosperity Investment Management added recruitment conditions without consent, submitted false results of local open recruitment, and refused without reasonable justification to hire eligible job seekers, while Wo Fu Kee Noodle Shop (Tsuen Wan) involved refusal to hire without reasonable justification.
