Financial Secretary Paul Chan to Attend IMF and World Bank Group Annual Meetings in Thailand Tomorrow

Financial Secretary Paul Chan will depart for Bangkok, Thailand tomorrow morning to attend the Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group as a member of the Chinese delegation. During the meetings, he will attend a roundtable co-organised by the IMF and the Hong Kong Monetary Authority to explore investment and financing opportunities for economies in the Middle East and Central Asia through Hong Kong's markets. He will return to Hong Kong from Bangkok on Saturday morning. During his absence, Financial Secretary for Financial Affairs Christopher Hui will act as Financial Secretary.
