The Investment Promotion Bureau has a dedicated team for the Northern Metropolis to attract investment, responsible for coordinating with parks across the Northern Metropolis and acting as a "matchmaker" to pair businesses with developers and facilitate cooperation. Lau Chi-yuen, assistant director of the bureau, cited the tender results for the Tin Shui Wai "district" as an example, where a 10.5-hectare site will be developed by a company jointly formed by 6 firms, stressing that matching must be carried out with a strategy of "specialists in their own fields."
