Lee Cheuk-yan appeals against conviction and sentence in Alliance case, hearing not yet scheduled

Lee Cheuk-yan has filed an appeal against his conviction and sentence in the Alliance case, with the Judiciary's website showing that the hearing has yet to be scheduled. The Alliance and Lee Cheuk-yan, Albert Ho and Chow Hang-tung were charged with inciting others to subvert state power. Albert Ho pleaded guilty before trial, while the others were convicted after trial. The court earlier sentenced Chow Hang-tung to 7 years and 3 months' imprisonment, Lee Cheuk-yan to 7 years, Albert Ho to 5 years and 2 months, and fined the Alliance $1.5 million.
