Financial Secretary announces reappointment of HKIC chief executive

Financial Secretary Paul Chan announced that the board of HKIC has reappointed Carmen Chan as chief executive for a three-year term, effective 9 October this year. As at the date of the announcement, HKIC has invested in more than 200 projects, of which 11 companies have listed in Hong Kong, while over 30 others have submitted or plan to submit listing applications in Hong Kong. For every HK$1 invested by HKIC, more than HK$8 of international long-term market capital has been mobilised to co-invest.
