Hong Kong news commentator denies breaching national security law, faces trial over disclosure of police meeting details

A 72-year-old Hong Kong news commentator, Wong Kwong-ngon, is standing trial at the District Court, charged with breaching the National Security Law for allegedly disclosing information that hindered a national security investigation. He runs a YouTube commentary channel under the pen name Wong On-yin, and told the court that details of his meeting with police were already public before he posted. He is the defendant in Hong Kong's first prosecution of this kind.
