Office for Attracting Strategic Enterprises Brings In 18 More Firms as Paul Chan Says 142 Companies to Drive About $84 Billion in Investment

The Office for Attracting Strategic Enterprises has brought in 18 more companies, covering advanced manufacturing and new energy, artificial intelligence, life and health technology, fintech and other sectors. Financial Secretary Paul Chan says that together with companies from earlier batches, a total of 142 companies will drive about $84 billion in investment and create about 27,000 jobs. He says half of the companies brought in this time are from the mainland and the other half from around the world.
