John Lee met the press before the Executive Council meeting, expressing hope that all sectors would attach importance to and take note of the LegCo's combined debate on the Five-Year Plan and the Policy Address. The LegCo will hold a combined debate starting tomorrow for three consecutive days. He described the two papers as closely connected, and reiterated the five major objectives of the Five-Year Plan, including achieving new breakthroughs in economic development, accelerating and improving the efficiency of Northern Metropolis development, and significantly improving people's livelihood and well-being.
