Financial Secretary to Attend Annual Meetings of IMF and World Bank Group in Thailand

Financial Secretary Paul Chan will depart for Bangkok, Thailand, tomorrow (October 15) to attend the Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group as a member of the Chinese delegation. He will attend the Annual Meetings plenary on October 16 and a roundtable co-organised by the IMF and the Hong Kong Monetary Authority. Chan will return to Hong Kong on October 17. During his absence, Financial Secretary for Financial Affairs Christopher Hui will act as Financial Secretary.
