Paul Chan: Hong Kong can leverage strengths in finance, innovation and technology to join forces with Nanjing and Jiangsu industrial base

Financial Secretary Paul Chan led a delegation of about 30 people on a visit to Nanjing, where he delivered a speech to more than 200 teachers and students at Nanjing University, proposing that Jiangsu-Hong Kong and Nanjing-Hong Kong cooperation could be deepened in two areas: supporting enterprises in "going global" and industrial linkage. The two places could combine Nanjing's strengths in the software industry with Hong Kong's research and development capabilities and international networks to jointly develop industrial software, enterprise-grade intelligent agents and robots, as well as cooperate in the fields of life and health and green technology.
