Paul Chan: Hong Kong Offers a Trusted Business Environment for Investors Seeking China Opportunities

Speaking at the Global Financial Leaders' Investment Summit, Financial Secretary Paul Chan said Hong Kong's common law system, free flow of capital and international networks provide a trusted business environment for global investors seeking to participate in China's growth opportunities. He said Hong Kong manages about US$250 billion in venture capital and private equity-related assets, ranking second in Asia after the mainland. Hong Kong will continue to expand financing and asset allocation so that investors can participate in growth in China and across Asia.
