Long-running grudge between two Mongkok Centre shops; spitting suspected to have sparked brawl; 3 women arrested for fighting, 1 sent to hospital

A fight broke out at 6:31pm yesterday on the first floor of Mongkok Centre shopping mall. 3 women were arrested on suspicion of "fighting in a public place", and 1 woman, aged about 50, was injured. She was conscious and taken by ambulance to Kwong Wah Hospital for treatment. The injured woman was a staff member of a jewellery shop in the mall and was suspected of having a long-standing grudge with a nearby nail salon. She rushed into the nail salon and spat at a female staff member in white, and a conflict immediately broke out.
