Chan Ka-pui Visits Peak Light Show, Says Artificial Installations Hard to Eliminate Ecological Impact

Hong Kong Island West legislator Chan Ka-pui, at the invitation of Commissioner for Tourism Chan Wai-yan, conducted an on-site inspection of the "Peak Light Show" proposed by the Tourism Board. She later said on Facebook that even if the authorities made technical revisions, hid cables, or adjusted the number or position of lights, it would still be difficult to completely eliminate the impact of artificial installations on the visual and surrounding ecology of the nature trail, and urged the authorities to reconsider whether the project is necessary at the Peak.
