HSBC strengthens performance-based pay for senior executives

HSBC (0005) will implement a new remuneration structure from 2028, progressively phasing out fixed pay allowances for senior staff and increasing the proportion of performance bonuses to link pay more closely with results. A HSBC spokesperson said the plan strengthens pay-for-performance and differentiated incentives, helping to attract top talent and recognise outstanding performers.
