Transport Department Commissioner Xie Yongyi inspected the Wan Chai Convention and Exhibition Station, Prince Edward Yalan Street and Jordan Austin Road cross-border bus termini in the evening to learn about preparations for the Halloween passenger peak, and was pleased to learn that short-haul cross-border bus operators are ready. Clearance hours at Shenzhen Bay Port will be extended, and the relevant cross-border short-haul buses will also extend their services; Island route B13, which runs direct to Huanggang Port, has been strengthened with more departures, and a new overnight special route B13S has been added, departing from Central direct to Huanggang. The bus company has reserved multiple backup vehicles and will deploy them to pick up passengers when large numbers are found at boarding points.
