HKEX and S&P Dow Jones Indices launch S&P 500 HKEX Technology 100 Index

HKEX and S&P Dow Jones Indices have jointly launched the S&P 500 HKEX Technology 100 Index, which was launched on 30 September 2026, with approximately 60% allocated to the HKEX Technology 100 Index and 40% to the S&P 500 Index, with weights adjusted quarterly. The index aims to support future tracking ETFs in qualifying for inclusion in Stock Connect trading, providing investment exposure to the US and Hong Kong stock markets through a single benchmark.
