Transport Department announces traffic and public transport arrangements after Huanggang Port redevelopment

The Transport Department announced traffic arrangements after the Huanggang Port redevelopment comes into service and operates 24 hours, with seven franchised bus routes, six green minibus routes and five 24-hour short-haul cross-boundary bus routes at the port. Public transport dedicated lanes leading directly to San Sham Road have been added on Fanling Highway and San Tin Highway, while taxis must obtain a queue ticket at the public transport buffer zone and proceed to the port in order. The Transport Department reminded the public that traffic in the vicinity would be relatively busy in the initial period, and members of the public could use other ports as needed.
