Former HSBC Insurance Chief Edward Moncreiffe Joins AIA as Regional CEO from November 2

Former HSBC Holdings global insurance chief Edward Moncreiffe will join AIA Group on November 2 as regional CEO, overseeing India, Sri Lanka, Australia and New Zealand, and will join the group executive committee. He will report to the group CEO, a path similar to that of former HSBC Group chairman Mark Tucker, who returned to AIA last year as non-executive chairman.
