Huanggang Port has officially opened and provides 24-hour clearance. Some cross-border drivers said completing vehicle inspection took about two minutes and the process was smooth, more convenient than the former Lok Ma Chau Control Station, but vehicle queues formed for a time in the area around the Hong Kong side. Private cars enter the "joint one-stop" lane after arriving on Level 1 to complete the "five-party inspection", with body temperature, document details, facial features and fingerprints sent simultaneously to 5 departments in Hong Kong and Shenzhen; passengers must alight on Level 1 before proceeding to Level 1M for clearance.
