Central Harbourfront Event Space to open in phases from Saturday, featuring jogging track and other facilities

The Central Harbourfront Event Space will open in phases from Saturday, occupying about 3.7 hectares, with a jogging track and a variety of leisure facilities free for public use. Improvement works to the ground surface and a shared bicycle rental service will be completed within this month, while the second phase of works is expected to be completed by mid-next year. The government has granted the site to Chung Kai Limited, a joint venture between Henderson Land and Entertainment Culture, on a five-year lease, with at least 100 days of free public opening each year.
