Visitor cost recovery rates both rise, Mrs Fung: matching global cultural institutions

The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority's cost recovery rate for the 2025/26 financial year was 40%, up 3 percentage points year on year, with full-year visits exceeding 17 million, 2 million more than the previous year. Chief Executive Betty Fung said cost recovery rates had risen across all major business units, reflecting increased revenue from exhibitions, programmes and related commercial activities.
