New Wonggok Port holds experience day; residents: WiFi works fine, will use new port for clearance

About 180 community members from Kwun Tong and Sai Kung, invited by the Home Affairs Department, visited the new Wonggok Port joint inspection building for an experience day, touring it for about an hour. The experience did not involve clearance arrangements. The Immigration Department introduced the "co-inspection and one-time release" clearance model, and Secretary for Security Chris Tang also attended. Some members of the public said the port's WiFi worked without problems and that they would use the new port for clearance in future.
