HKMA Adds Tokenised Central Bank Money 24x7 Settlement to EnsembleTX as Participating Banks Rise to 12

The Hong Kong Monetary Authority announces that EnsembleTX, the pilot phase of Project Ensemble, has entered a new chapter, supporting 24x7 round-the-clock settlement of interbank tokenised deposits through tokenised central bank money. Participating banks and industry pioneers have risen to 12 and 20 respectively, and the new function allows participants to settle tokenised transactions instantly outside traditional operating hours. The Hong Kong Monetary Authority will continue to deepen cooperation with the Securities and Futures Commission to promote the development of the tokenised finance ecosystem.
