New Huanggang Port traffic arrangements: no pick-up for non-fleet app-hailed taxis, 7 franchised bus routes set up

The Transport Department announced traffic arrangements for the new Huanggang Port, with 7 franchised bus routes, 6 minibus routes and 5 short-haul cross-boundary bus routes operating 24 hours at the port. Non-fleet app-hailed taxis will not have pick-up points, and passengers arriving in Hong Kong can only book fleet taxis. It is understood that the port will open as early as next Monday (12), and coaches are expected to need to transfer at San Tin. When asked about the design arrangements, Assistant Commissioner for Transport (New Territories) Tse Sin-yi did not respond directly, only reiterating that fleet taxis would operate on a booking basis at the port.
