Girl in Tuen Mun Fu Tai Estate seen carrying about 20 cans of beer in video circulating online; police investigating, school issues statement saying social workers have intervened

A video circulating online shows a girl in Tuen Mun Fu Tai Estate carrying about 20 cans of beer with both hands and wearing a tattered school bag, and police are investigating the case. In the video, a man snatches a bag of beer from her and calls her "useless", while the girl tells a female officer that she carried the beer voluntarily and that her mother has been ill for a long time. Hong Kong Lutheran Church Tsang Shing Siu Lun School issued a statement in the early hours of 7 October, saying that social workers and teachers had intervened immediately and calling on the public to stop forwarding the video.
