Observatory Issues Very Hot Weather Warning

The Observatory has issued a very hot weather warning. The Observatory reminds the public to avoid prolonged outdoor activities; those who must go out should wear a wide-brimmed hat and light-coloured loose clothing, stay in the shade as much as possible, and drink plenty of water while avoiding caffeinated or alcoholic drinks. Anyone feeling unwell should see a doctor promptly.
