John Lee: Buildings Department investigating construction quality case at One Stanley in Stanley

Chief Executive John Lee said the government attaches importance to construction quality of building works, and the Buildings Department is investigating the One Stanley case in Stanley to ascertain whether construction quality and site supervision were in place, and will handle it in accordance with the law. He has asked the Development Bureau to monitor the investigation and enhance legal regulatory requirements and penalties. The Development Bureau will submit amendment proposals to the Buildings Ordinance within the year to strengthen regulation and penalties.
