Kenneth Fok Says Small Sports Events Struggle Against Costs, Hopes Kai Tak Sports Park Will Balance Social Responsibility

Kenneth Fok, Legislative Council member for the sports, performing arts, culture and publication sector, said in an interview with this newspaper that he agrees with the commercial operating model of Kai Tak Sports Park but hopes the park will balance social responsibility and the development of the local sports sector, allowing non-profit local associations more room to hold events in the park. He said small sports events struggle to cover costs and hopes the park will "discuss things reasonably".
