Lam Chi-yau Questions Whether Medical Council Has Delivered Justice in Siu Tin-yu Case, Resigns as Member Same Day and Acts as Family's Legal Representative

Lam Chi-yau, chairman of the Patient Policy Link, announced on 4 November that he had tendered his resignation to the Medical Council, effective tomorrow. He said he was disappointed with the Medical Council's handling of the Tin-yu case and has applied to the court to act as honorary solicitor in the case's inquest. The inquest into Siu Tin-yu's death has been scheduled for November.
