Tuen Mun Hospital Neurology Centre Opens, Wards Combine Inpatient and Day Services With Care From Interprofessional Teams

The Tuen Mun Hospital Neurology Centre officially opened today, providing one-stop integrated services for patients with neurological diseases such as acute stroke, movement disorders and epilepsy. The centre combines inpatient and day services, with care from interprofessional teams, and introduces advanced technology and promotes cross-specialty collaboration. Secretary for Health Lo Chung-mau said in his speech that the centre breaks down departmental and specialty boundaries, and he hopes it will be gradually extended to other hospital clusters.
